We are officially in the age of what is being referred to as “revenge travel” from the likes of travel guru Rick Steves. I for one, am here for it & fully participating. After a few years of locked borders & stay-at-home orders, travel is now alive & well. I’m fresh off 4 international trips in the last few months & my luggage is in need of an update. I thought I’d take you along on my ride of shopping for new carry-on pieces, as you may be in the same boat while searching for the best honeymoon luggage options!
3. TRAVELPRO: Maxlite 5 Softside Lightweight Expandable Carry-On
Spend any amount of time in an airport, and you’re bound to see lots of airline crew with their Travelpro bags floating behind them. There’s a reason this brand has a great reputation. While this bag doesn’t have the 4 wheels that seem standard on most suitcases these days, it’s a solid choice and frankly I think as an inlaid 2-wheel bag it stands up better to cobblestone anyway (which if you’re a Europe gal like myself, you’ll appreciate – I own 2 of these bags currently in various sizes).
4. BEIS: The Weekender & The Carry-On Roller
At my recent Illuminare Retreat, I met one of my guests at the door and she had this gorgeous set-up which most definitely caught my eye. The Weekender bag from Béis slips over the handle of their matching Carry-On Roller & makes for a beauty of an ensemble. If you’re looking for a matching bag system, it can’t get cuter than this!
If you have a favorite piece of honeymoon luggage, I’d love to hear about it! If you’re planning a destination wedding, reach out for more information on how we can jet-set together.
