Tucked away in the hills of Tuscany, lies Villa Catignano. This beautiful quintessential Italian villa served as home for their 50 wedding guests, and the backdrop to their perfect wedding day. Despite the heat of this summer in the Siena region, the breeze blew at just the right times, and the clouds rolled over to provide some shade just before their ceremony in the lemon grove. The day was filled with laughter & fun from sunrise to sunset, especially with their brilliant band providing the entertainment.
Katie & Logan met while attending graduate school at Georgetown. Eventually, med school sent the two in different directions, but their love continued to grow, despite the miles between them. The couple’s parents hit it off when they met, and planned a dual family trip to the beach in Florida, where Logan proposed with both sets of parents undoubtedly watching with tears. Katie & Logan are the perfect match. Kind spirits, intent on spending their lives serving others & bringing healing as doctors. Their wedding day was one for the books – filled with timeless beauty, overflowing with love, and one amazing party.
Amy & Tim just make sense together. When watching them interact, it doesn’t take long to see the spark between them & notice how their personalities compliment each other so well. Their wedding day was such a joy-filled day – from beginning to end. The newlyweds shared a private dance – alone in their ballroom at Cincinnati’s Music Hall – after sending the guests outside to line up for the sparkler exit. I think it was the best way to end the night. A final reminder that at the end of it all, it’s just the two of them. And how lucky they are to have that.
Although Tara & Kyle now live in Atlanta, they still consider Cincinnati home & were excited to show off The Queen City to their friends traveling in for their wedding day. They’re a truly laid back couple who were focused on the meaning of this incredible day above all else & were a true pleasure to work with. I loved watching the way they interacted on their wedding day & know that the future is going to hold big things for this beautiful duo.
This Cincinnati Art Museum wedding was perfection. For starters, Jessica & Michael are total gems. They’re such kind people, as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. Additionally, they have style for dayyyyyys. Their black and white wedding with bold pops of color was seamlessly put together & executed (…and HELLO, white bridesmaids dresses! So stunning!) Jessica was an absolute vision in her Monique Lhuillier bridal gown, and Michael was as dapper a groom as they come. The day was packed full of emotion, and I was so honored to document it for them!
Loren started her med school rotations at a local Cincinnati hospital, and Dan was one of the first people she met upon arrival. They chatted casually throughout the first year or two of knowing each other before finally deciding to have their first date. They’ve been inseparable since. Loren & Dan are two of the kindest souls you’ll meet – as evidenced further by their career choices as physicians. Their wedding day was truly perfect & I’m so thrilled for them to begin their lives together as husband & wife.
Kara works for a large event rentals company in Orange County. Week after week she helps brides design their wedding days – and now it was her turn. Not only do Kara & Tyler have a great style, but they also made sure to put their personal touch on their wedding day. Tyler is a musician. Actually, as pointed out by his brother during his Best Man toast, he’s not just a musician – but an artist & lyrical master. Touches of his craft were spread throughout the wedding day in the most perfect way.
You know those people who are just good at everything? Who seemingly make everything they touch turn to magic? That’s Molly. Add to that the fact that she’s got style for days and drop dead gorgeous. And God brought her the perfect partner in Aaron – even sweeter than he is handsome, with the biggest love for his bride. It has been an absolute joy getting to know Molly & Aaron through their engagement and I knew that their wedding day would be incredible – and it was. Molly is an architect, and incredibly artistic – and convenient for Molly, Aaron is quite handy. So for the last several months, Molly has designed & Aaron has built.
